Enactus Bayreuth reaches 2nd place at the National Cup 2021 with Asante Sanaa!
June 21, 2021
We are proud to announce that we not only reached our first final in the club's history at this year's Enactus Germany National Cup, but also took 2nd place. We are incredibly happy about this success and look back with joy on the National Cup week from 14-18 June 2021.
The week started on Monday evening with the group draw. Together with three other teams, we then pitched our social start-up Asante Sanaa in League 3 on Tuesday. After many weeks of preparation in terms of both content and technology, the entire team was extremely excited on Tuesday to see whether the work invested would pay off.
When it was announced that we were the winning team in League 3 and would be going through to the final, we were naturally overjoyed.

In the final, we were then to meet the teams from Münster, Munich, Mannheim and Braunschweig in Cologne on Friday. Anna, Jan and Sophia therefore travelled from Bayreuth to Cologne for our team on Thursday to prepare for the final pitch on Friday.

The final event with a live presentation in the studios of RTL was an incredible experience for which we are extremely grateful. Not only were we able to gain great experiences ourselves, but we were also able to offer East African art and our artists a fantastic stage. In this context, we would like to thank Enactus Germany and all the sponsors of this year's National Cup for making this event possible and organising it.
Special thanks go to Anna, Jan and Sophia, who simply rocked the show and gave everyone goosebumps.
Even though we would have been delighted to take first place, we are now cheering on Enactus Mannheim e.V. on their way to the Enactus World Cup 2021 in October! They took first place with their project Moufense.
All in all, the NC week went very well and we are very proud to have come second behind this strong project and are once again motivated to continue doing everything we can to strengthen the bridge between East Africa and Germany.

Many thanks to all those who have already supported us on our journey and of course to Enactus Germany, without whom this event could never have taken place.
